Accomplishments

• Continues an excellent track record of fulfilling contractual obligations to customers, with quality products and on time delivery
• Was honoured in 1999 with the Environmental Award from the Forest Stewardship Recognition Program
• Was featured in the trade magazine The Canadian Forest Industry in March of 1998
• Nominated for 1998 for a Northern Ontario Business Award
• Long time member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, an active member of the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce, and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business
• Comptroller Dan Theriault was President of the Sault Chamber of Commerce in 2005-2006
• Is involved locally sponsoring athletic teams
• Is involved in local charities, currently donating $35,000 to the New Hospital Fund
• Continues to work with the Canadian Forest Services (CFS) with various ongoing projects
• 1999 was the recipient of the Sault Chamber of Commerce Environment Award for Under 50 Employee Category
• Active member of MNR Local Citizens Committees relating to the activities on the Algoma Forest, managed by Clergue Forest Management.
